The Boss makes Reed Film Competition Shortlist

If you’ve not seen my friend’s short film ‘The Boss’, then here it is below:

(oh and he was also the one that made the This Sweet Love video)

All the effects are done ‘in camera’ which is a film term for no cgi. I spent three days doing the sound replacement/fx and war drumming.

The whole thing from start to finish took us about 10 days.

As you can see, there is a little amount of acting from me too. I’m clearly the next David Bowie!

The Operators release part 2 of their double album Old School House.

Part 1 was great. With many classics, but this one is even better.

So I DJ’d for my mates Post War Years last Thursday at the Bethnal Green Working Man’s Club in …well… Bethnal Green.

I was asked by someone to make a playlist of the tunes I played between Boxed In (the first band on) and Post War Years.

I can’t really remember orders or whether they fell into this exact period, but to the best of my knowledge the following tracks did.

28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October,
2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude of around 350 km.
All credit goes to them. I intend to upload a FullHD-version presently.

HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered, cut, etc.
All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible,
avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original
footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.
